Blondie at the Whisky a Go Go

Los Angeles club poster work for Blondie sits in the late-1970s West Coast chapter before the Van Halen Fair Warning art-direction move.

Blondie played the Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip on 3 February 1977, a year before Parallel Lines made them stars. Byrd’s poster is one of the few pieces from his New York years to look toward the Los Angeles scene he would join four years later.
