Brand Galleries’ Byrd Show continues the late-career exhibition chapter after Ringling (2007) and Set the Walls on Fire (2010).

The Brand Library & Art Center in the Glendale hills hosted Byrd’s largest retrospective: more than eighty pieces over a six-month run. It is where he hung the oversized seven-foot version of his favorite poster, the 1974 New York Art Deco Exposition.
