The Byrds · 1971 Benelux tour tribute poster
2015 tribute poster commemorating a 1971 Dutch / Benelux concert by the Byrds — created for a show that never had an original Byrd sheet.
In 2015 Byrd designed a tribute poster for the Byrds’ May 28, 1971 concert at Martinihal, Groningen, Netherlands (Benelux tour) — a memorable night that originally had no Byrd poster.
Poster Child notes that, at the urging of impresario Bill Graham’s example, Byrd later made posters for important concerts that never received original sheets when they happened.
This is artwork chronology, not the Vanity Fair career interview from the same year — the interview is its own press stop.
