Dolly Parton poster
Dolly Parton poster design preserved in the estate catalog.
Estate stock lists Dolly Parton among portrait/entertainment commissions.
Commissioned by Digney & Co. in 2005 alongside the Streisand portrait. There is a private joke in it: Dolly Parton was the “inspiration” Follies’ producers had pushed on Byrd in 1971 before he replaced her with Marlene Dietrich and the cracked-face design that made his name.
