Playbill describes the saturated chorine bust, star headdress title, and facial crack hinting at ruins of a bygone era.

The image became a story-high Winter Garden mark and a Triton Gallery collector staple.

Byrd later told Playbill that Broadway required reading the script — unlike rock posters that “just had to be cool.”
