Seals & Crofts · 1970 tour poster blank
Poster “blank” Byrd designed for the 1970 Seals & Crofts tour — venue and date pasted into the snipe box at the bottom.
Poster “blanks,” this one designed by Byrd for the 1970 tour of Seals & Crofts, would have the venue and date information pasted into the “snipe box” at the bottom.
The finished art (portrait, title lettering, ornate frame) traveled as a reusable tour sheet; local printers filled the empty lower box for each stop.
It sits in the New York chapter as production craft behind concert nights — not a one-off Fillmore East bill.
